The team reported live from the Barbeque during CBS 3, 5 and 6 p.m.
newscasts that day. During the telecasts, they gave viewers a rare
inside look at the historic air base that operates the largest and
busiest air freight terminal in the Department of Defense and is also
home to the Air Mobility Command Museum. The Charles C. Carson Center
for Mortuary Affairs, also located on base, handles the dignified
transfers of servicemen and women fatally wounded in combat.
